Sewning

I have been experimenting a lil with my sewing machine and have come to find...I'm not all that bad at it! I get an idea and just go! no pattern or instructions ...just ideas and my trusty stitch cutter (for the mistakes)! I actually really enjoy sewing its relaxing and if something doesnt work i move on!!! These are some baby accessories...next project clothes!!!

8 weeks old

Lovely Raegan Marie 8 wks old!!! She is such a serious baby girl, but is starting to smile at us ! She is growing fast and we cant wait to see all the lil surprises  that await us... will her hair stay brown? what color are her eyes? Will she be as crazy and outgoing as her sister? all things I can and can't wait to find out!! Love you lil girl!

First Haircut

So I gave in and Jordyn got her FIRST haircut....it was hard for me to come to terms with I mean the kid was bald til she was 2!! Plus it took a lil convincing her too! Anyway Ana of course did the honors !!! Thanks Auntie Ana!

DIY Staggs Home

So we moved into our house Dec of 2009...and as proud homeowners we want to make our house our own and have plenty of places to entertain friends family and KIDS!! SO we are in the long expensive process of upgrading....first big project is our backyard ...here is a before and after of the right side !! Our current project is a roof on our cabana the lights and fans! we are also going to do a lil outdoor kitchen/ grill area and fire pit...oh and a dog run and recreational game area to the left of the cabana! Its a work in progress I must have picked a million weeds! And I am also trying to build and maintain my first garden! pic to come of the after product of all of this ...its a lot of work but we are doing it on our own...with the help of our friend David who is extra handy! I'm sure we will get our Dads in on the fun to hint hint!! either way cant wait for it to be done!!

Spirit week

This week was Spirit Week at Jordyns Pre school! I may have been more into it then her! i love making lil things for her to dress up in! Either way she loves it too! She also had a teacher conference and her teachers told us how much they love having her in the class because she is a free spirit always dancing and singing!! Thats our girl!!

The First day was favorite book character day she was Fancy Nancy of course!!

Day two Was Wacky Wednesday..we channeled Cindy Lou Who as far as hair went!!

Today was "When I grow up day" she originannly said she wanted to be a book writer, then a mommy, later she whined about why "EVERYONE'" go to be on TV and she didn't so she wanted to become an acrobat!! I'm not sure how the kid settled on doctor but hey they are her dreams!! plus this was an easy outfit! Her school year is over so let the fun begin!! we cant wait to visit everyone soon!

Sleepy girl

I know that I posted this on Facebook and Youtube but if you havent seen it you have to watch! The other night I was making Jordyn a snack and she was going to eat it wile watching a movie in her room! So when I go to her room she wasnt in there...I found her in my room and she had moved her lil table and rocking chair in front of our TV ... lots of work...anyway after i got done feeding the baby this is what we found!

Our baby girl is almost 7 weeks old ! She is doing so good and we are lucky she is such a good baby! She loves to watch her crazy older sister and gazing into anyones eyes! she is getting a lil chunk butt and we love a lil chubby baby! We still cant tell what color her eyes are going to be sometimes they look blue and sometimes hazel! She looks a lot like Jordyn, but we can't wait to see her develop into her own lil person! it is so crazy to watch it all happen again!

So I say...

all the time that I am going to start a blog  and I actually have started a few, but never keep up with them because I feel like no one follows them... But then the other day my Mother in Law pointed out to me that i can blog and later share all my memories with my kids!! So here we go... for those of you who check this out enjoy !
